It has approx. 4 inch straps on the side that you can snap into an area on the side of the bag that will help you reduce the height when snapped in place to approx. 13.5 inches or closer to approx. 12.5 if you fold the top portion of the bag down to snap them in place. The bag is pliable, depending on the contents. Bottom is semi-structured.
